I don’t typically talk about my deep love for comics here, but I just devoured a series called ‘The Sixth Gun’ and I had to express my emotions about this gorgeous panel somewhere.
I don’t think I’ve ever seen something so romantic in a comic. Though maybe “emotionally poignant” is the better term. Because 1) I don’t know if the creators really want to take it in that direction and 2) Putting that spin on it is reductive of the INCREDIBLE work they’ve done to get us to care about this moment.
If the NBC adaptation of this goes to series and the DON’T recreate this moment, I will be devastated.
